PSE is a personal search engine that lets you build a personal, keyword-searchable database of your favorite web sites.

On a desktop or notebook? Just drag this link to your browser's bookmarks toolbar to install: PSE

To add stuff to the database, select some text on any web page and click the toolbar link.

To search for stuff, click the toolbar link without selecting any text.

On a mobile device? Stay tuned for possible future support (using bookmarklets on mobile devices is pretty nasty).

On Internet Explorer? Sorry, not supported at this time.

More questions? Watch the presentation.

After you've added the link, you may want to import your existing bookmarks.

You may also do this from the menu at a later time, if you'd prefer.

PSE can import your existing bookmarks, though you'll just get the title and URL (that's all there is with old-school bookmarks). You can edit them later to add text descriptions as desired/needed.

Your in-browser bookmarks will not altered or affected in any way by this process.

Before importing your bookmarks into PSE, you must first export the bookmarks from your browser. How you do this varies depending on the browser.

That's it! It may take a while to process the bookmarks depending on just how many you have.
